We work together towards solving your financial problems over a three month period. The three month mentoring service is provided to assist those people who need a bit more guidance and attention. The three month mentoring service works as follows: We send out blank worksheets by email or post. The client completes their details by entering the dates, the amounts and the frequency of the expense. They then return the completed forms back to Better Money Management.

After inputting the data on to the system, an initial meeting is arranged to go through the data and advise as to appropriate measures that need to be taken. This may extend to debt consolidation, cancellation of Credit Cards etc. Where required the necessary professionals are called on for assistance.

Following this initial meeting, the necessary changes are made to the budget as agreed between the client and Better Money Management. The client is provided with printouts of the budget report plus the budget calendar. These reports assist the client in helping track their spending habits for the next month. Better Money Management are in constant contact every two weeks during the first month to confirm that the client is progressing.

The client is then asked to track and record the expenses over that three months by utilising the budget report printouts which are regularly updated and provided after each meeting. This enables Better Money Management to track the budget and ensure that with guidance the client is able to remain on target to achieve the goals set at the initial meeting. All budgets are personalised in accordance with the client's wishes, ensuring that the client remains within their limits.

After the three months a complimentary copy of the Simply Budgets software program is provided to the client. The client is then able to download a copy of the program plus their personalised budget on to their system. Should however, the client wish to continue with the mentoring service then this can be arranged.

One very important feature to note is that should someone not have access to a computer, then all of the paperwork can be completed in hard copy and a budget setup in order to track the individuals personal needs.
